About Us
Welcome to our Microschool. I am a former educator, parent and grandparent who has a love of teaching. We employ the Orton-Gillingham approach to multi-sensory learning throughout all of our core subjects - reading, math, science and social studies.
Students in our Microschool range in grade from Kindergarten through fifth grade. Students join our academy who are neurodivergent and struggle to find their place through conventional educational opportunities. These students typically come to us with an IEP, and we individualize their education through unit based studies, differentiated by ability.
I have a heart for children who are on the spectrum, have ADHD, and learning disabilities like Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia. I am a certified OG practioner/tutor and would love to consult with you and/or provide tutoring for your child, if you are unable to attend our microschool full time.

Registration is now underway for 2024-2025
- Class meets 3 days per week
- Tuesday - Thursday
- Lessons are unit based and encompass the five core subjects of English, Math, Reading, Science, and Social Studies
- Electives include art, coding, music, robotics
- Field trips on Fridays with parental accompaniment
- Each student receives individual instruction differentiated to their ability

Coding and Robotics Class
Join us for our exciting 10 week class teaching coding and robotics to scholars in Kindergarten - 5th grade. We will develop early skills in logic, problem solving and reading comprehension. Our highly interactive program will introduce foundational coding concepts through age appropriate activities, games and projects. Class is open to all students and will meet Georgia Educational Standards in Computer Science.
When: Friday’s at 2pm or 6pm starting September 6th through November 15th - we will not meet on October 4th. Class will meet for 1 hour per week.
Where: Jonesboro, GA (exact location to be disclosed when registered)
Requirements: Wi-Fi capable Tablet (Android or Apple) from which to download apps to be able to control robots
Owning a Wonder Workshop Robot-Dash, will allow scholar to complete homework assignments and practice, but isn’t required. To purchase robot, click here or find other source.
Prerequisites: Ability to work collaboratively with others
Cost: 75.00 for the entire class
